At Opal, it is our culture to maintain the highest level of Sterilization. Equipped with quality equipment and infrastructure, we strive to achieve a top-notch level of infection control:
All used instruments are soaked in an antiseptic solution for a minimum of 30 minutes, scrubbed and cleaned under running water and a cleansing solution.
The instruments are then cleansed in an Ultrasonic Cleaner (high frequency vibrations) with a disinfectant to remove any debris accumulated on it. They are dried and sealed in separate pouches, which are sealed by heat pressing (Sterile Wraps).
The instruments are Sterilized in ‘B-class’ Autoclave (high temperature disinfection) to ensure 100% sterilization.
The Sterile Wraps are coded to indicate the batch of sterilization and stored away in U.V. Light storage cabinets, which are removed only when needed.
